i have my interviewed done on may 2005.but the AO did not stamp my passport (no I-551 stamp), they only wrote in my passport, interviewed, that's it!but the AO told me to wait for my green card in mail for few months but until now i haven't receive anything, not even the welcome letter of becoming a resident (it's past 6 months already!).im under c09 sec 245.i had my interview in garden city long island.my EAD expires january 2006.they still did not update the NOA I-485 on the website, it still says "it will take 120-180 days for us to process this kind of case ...blah, blah, blah" do you have any advice....im worried...please reply....i need to know your advice......

Hi, I am having the same problem as doodlepos.
Had the interview (our first)at the garden city uscis location. Everything went well were told to wait for green card but didn't get a stamp on the passport from the officer, he just wrote I-485 his name the date and pending. The officer even said congratulations at the end.
It has been 2 months and have not received anything.
