I am a U.S. Citizen and my fiance is a Canadian Resident. Please let me know the quickest way to get her into the U.S. since we desperately want to be together. We don't want to be apart any longer, and we want to know which way to get her into the U.S. that takes the shortest amount of time. Should we get married in Canada and apply for a spouse visa, or get a fiance visa and marry in the U.S., etc. Any suggestions or strategies would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Whenever I've looked into the processing times, etc. it has seemed that both procedures take similar amounts of time. For a few months one will go faster and for a few months another will go faster. I don't know if anyone can give you a more definite answer. Good luck.
have her come to usa to visit her 'friend', marry her, and then adjust status. she couldnt leave until this is complete. thats the quickest way, but its not completely honest.. fiance visa is said to be quicker than spouse visa, depends on embassy though
