A partial fix to the financial situation would be a troop reduction. In places where either we aren't needed or where we shouldn't care. A complete withdraw from Europe and Africa would be a good idea. They can take care of their own skirmishes. And if it gives the green light to a local dictator for expansionist ideas, so be it. We should just let those countries fall that snubbed their noses at us.

Ignorance and greed is what is destroying our country, not Barack Obama. Bush graduated from Yale because of his father. He graduated at the bottom of his class. McCain graduated from the Naval Academy because of his father. He graduated at the bottom of his class. Obama graduated from Harvard Law School, at the top of his class, because of his brains and not because of his family. You may try to argue that he got into Harvard because he was black, but he was editor of the Harvard Law Review and you do not achieve this because your are black, white, yellow, male or female. I thought it was a joke, a bad one, when I heard that John McCain was hitting the campaign trail again this time to promote GOP Senator Saxby Chambliss and help him hold on to his seat in GA.

This is a man that McCain himself has questioned severely in the past, categorizing his actions as "inexcusable" and sometimes even "immoral". And now, McCain is campaigning for him.

Maybe the maverick is now reveling against his own principles. This is pathetic, it reminds you of those informercials that use a "has-been" TV star to sell you some krappy juicer or gym equipment.

Does McCain remember the meaning of the word "integrity" or "principles" or "convictions" or "consistency"? Here I thought McCain was going to return to his old self, but obviously I was wrong.
