I just finished my vocational study here in the US and returned back to Europe.
I would like to know which way to go in order to get a green card so that I can live and work in the WA, USA. I wish to open my own office and have practice clients that like to see me.
Is the only way to marry my girlfriend here in the US?
I want to make it on my own and she does not like the idea either that I depend on her to get a visa.
I talked to an immigration lawyer and she told me that if I invest from $100k it would could be done to get a investor visa. But for my kind of business (complementary health care provider) I don't even know on what to spend that amount of money. Can I buy a house and open my office in there, does the INS accept that as investment?
The US embassy in my Europe homecountry was very helpful in the past, they issued me my vocational student visa within 2 weeks. Now to get a green card (without lottery) seems to be much harder and I don't fit into any category it seems. Can I make an appeal to the INS or US embassy?

I have a succesful international trade business in Europe with my sister and mother and there is no risk I will become dependent on the US welfare system. I have most of my relatives in the US (speaking of uncles, aunts, cousins).

Try looking for US jobs and ask the employers to sponsor a greencard for you.

Or try your luck with the lottery.

Or get to know a US Citizen and marry with love.

Or let your children be born in the US so that they can apply greencard for you in the next 18-20 years or so.

Millions of people can come up with a 100k investment. That doesn't mean INS will give green cards to everyone. There are lots and complicated clauses in every rule. I think you need to do real research how to get a green card. There are many sites on the internet to help you for research.
