two problems:
my boyfriend came to the us when he was 13 and was legally adopted here by his aunt a usc. they got court papers and all but never filed anything with the ins. he has no greencard, work permit or usc. he now is 24 and has been trying to find a way to get his papers(he had assumed he had them). he has lived here for 10+ years, been to high school, college and it is his home. is there any way that he is a usc already without filing for i-130? if we have to file i-130 it will take years. he also has a ssn but is not allowed to work.please help.

case2:
i am german and met the guy above 3 years ago when i was on j1 as an au pair. we want to get married. but the way it is now would it be a set back? i keep entering and leaving the us on b2 visas now and i am getting tired and scared of that. a company offered to sponsor me but i had just finished high school at home and had various jobs but no real proof, but i can programm, do all pc stuff and speak 3 languages.

what to do for both of us.
