My sister's fiance was married to a USC approximately 4 years ago, had his green card in place to come over and was awaiting the paperwork to be sent in by his wife/sponsor. Some paperwork was filed and replied to, however, the final paperwork needed was never sent in. Ok. Here's the question: Since he has once before done paperwork on his current green card, will he be required to get a new one? Secondly, since his sponser has changed will the entire process need to be restarted?
Any assistance you can give me to pass on to them will be appreciated! Thank you for your time and have a great day!
Your post is confusing. First, what is "his current green card"? Embassy/consulates terminate any immigrant visa applications if no response was received in one year. If the process was never completed he doesn't have a green card. Second, who's sponsoring him for what and what does it have to do with your sister being his fiance?
Cheers.

Thank you for replying and I tend to get everyone, including myself confused at times. lol His sponsor will be his fiance, my sister. By "his current greencard" ~ the way I understand it is he got one in 2002 and his wife / sponsor at the time, didn't finish the paperwork to get him here. Does that make sense? {Sam if I'm explaining this wrong help me...LOL} If I'm understanding your post correctly, we have to start at the beginning. How long approximately would we be looking at? AND, I know there are temporary visa's etc and forms for them, would that allow him to be here while the process is going on? Can they get married while he's on a temp visa? Any info you could provide will be greatly appreciated. Hope I haven't confused you even further. Thx for taking the time to read my post.
Assuming that your sister is a USC, before anything can be filed on his behalf by your sister he must be divorced from his first wife. The whole process must be started from the beginning and he can not visit while his visa app is pending.
