I just became an naturalized citizen and I am applying for a citizenship certificate for my 17yr old daughter. I have a few questions regarding the form:

1.Information about entry into the United States and current immigration status:

Is it about the last entry into US? We entered as tourists and we adjusted our status to students, H1-b, green card. The last entry was from Canada when we had our vacation - we traveled with our green cards at that time.

2. There is a question in the form:
Is your U.S. citizen mother's current spouse also your father?
I am the bio mother and my current husband is not the father. In the N-600 instruction, it says

C. Indicate whether the U.S. citizen mother's current spouse is also your parent. If "No," you will be asked to provide information about your mother's previous spouse or spouses.

I do not see anywhere on the form that I can provide these addtional information. What do I do?

3. There is a list of supporting documents I need to send in with the application. Do I use the originals or copies?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Smeagolrocks, welcome back Smile

From what I can figure out, Part 5 under martial history.

B.. is where you list current Spouse details.

C.. is where you list bio father details.

Where is throws you is that it says current spouse continued on top of that next page, but in fact its just a continuation about marital history....

But you do need to put bio father in C.

D of course will be No.

Hope that helps Smile

Hi Sprint_girl07
Are you sure section C is for bio father? It does not have a place for the name of the bio father though.

Well I had to fill out that "last entry" question once myself. I was told, in case one is PR, he/she should put down the date of adjustment of status and 3-letter code of the office (not always the local office). The code should be stamped next to the AOS stamp in the passport.
I did that, and there was no problem.
I suggest you write AOS info and info of the last entry from Canada.
