Cool Sam Thanks Can anyone tell me on here please, how can I go to a post when it has been updated with new content and go straight to the last place I read? I hate having to keep looking through the pages where I last read up to or posted at. Is there a quick way? Thanks -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God Bless America - God Bless Immigrants - God Bless Poor Misguided Souls Too Mr S.U.

Hi Sprint_girl, I'm not sure the board is that sophisticated, but you can at least go to the latest post by clicking on the posters name rather than thread topic. You probably already know this, though.

Hello Everyone: Re Sprint_girl07's post of January 16, 2008 08:13 PM, I have sent it to our tech gurus for an update. I have also asked the tech gurus to post the new rules on the sticky. I hope it will happen today, if not then surely first thing tomoro. The rules will be effective on posting. A quick question for the community - does anyone here use the Alexa toolbar? I do, and have for many years. I find it useful for two things (1) it gives me an idea of the relative popularity of any website I happen to be visiting, and (2) it shows similar websites to the one I happen to be on right on the toolbar for me to explore (comes in handy when visiting websites on obscure subjects). For those who don't know about the toolbar, and want to learn more, or to install it and try it out, here's the link: http://www.alexa.com/site/downloadIt goes without saying, but I will say it anyways, its free! Feedback on this matter appreciated! Please use this thread for the feedback. Thanks again. - Sam.

Hey SonofSam; why haven't you deleted that post which I told you about? Maybe you should post BOTH standards; those for illegal aliens and those for lawful residents and US Citizens?

One thing I brought up a while back was splitting the site into a couple arenas. One for fact finding and immigration questions. It could be set aside to exclude the sometimes spirited debates. If its true that some participants are scared off after reading some of the more aggressive posts it would provide a safe refuge if they knew they would not be subject to any scrutiny. Within that title it could be broken down into sub sections. EWI, visa fubars, citizenship issues, etc. And of course there should be a section for debating the merits of various ideologies. If the site were organized in such a way it would help all concerned to find what they want.
Vote Republican and this country will still be worth sneaking into.

Davdah, only problem I have with this typing of breaking into subsections on questions is that some posters never get their questions answered. this is one of the few boards that just has the questions available for all to see and be answered. this is the one great thing about this board. On the other boards, ususally one you get into a section, you just stay there or dont visit the other sections that you may not have interest in. the idea of just 2 discussions are good. One for informative threads/debate section. One for all immigration questions section. Posters would just then have to respect the boundaries.

that would be similiar to the Immigrate2us forum, but without to many headings, I think it's a good idea Davdah, at least you will know where to post if it is laid out like that,

If you examine 99% of the cud posted on immigrate2us.net (aka twitteringcows.lard) you will soon see that there is little in the way of useful advice given on that site....most of the blather is hand-wringing nonsense like.."hang in there...I know god has a plan.."...and as to hardship letters, most of these manatees lack basic English grammar skills...and their main shill sometimes answers a couple of questions on her Wed "chat, but mostly she's trying to drum up more $6000 donations to her coffers.... my advice to illegals: go home, start over, obey the laws my advice to would-be illegals: stay home, don't come here, and if you do, plan to obey every rule without exception.

S12 - Immigrate2us is a support group, and infact they have quite a few members that do know what they are talking about, as well as a resident lawyer that pops in now and again. As we have all agree'd we all have our opinions on things, you may think Immi2US is a bad website, while others think it is a good one, each to their own.

none of them have a single clue about immigration law....they offer 'advice' and opinions that are categorically and legally wrong, encourage many to lie and scam our officials and all believe that they are ENTITLED to an approved waiver (and their hardship letters are all the same--each cow has depression, a litany of alleged medical problems [none that can be attributed to their illegal alien's deportation and subsequent bar to readmission, but then these guernseys never pay attention to true facts] and offer hardships that affect third parties - which is not for consideration!! They should all hold hands, pop a bonbon into their mouths, lock up the trailer and head for WalMart.

Hi Sam U., Thanks for that link - I will be checking that out. I totally agree with 4now, it will be a lot of help for the newcomers (like me) to divide the discussions into two. Sometimes, I visit the forum just to read some of the articles for further learning.
