Canada04, congratulations! Your I-751 has been approved and CIS is producing your new PR card. You should receive it fairly quickly.

Btw, please share which center handled your case. The timeline is pretty impressive.

I am astonished as to how quick this went. What type of application was this? What year did you file the application?

I want mine that quick too Confused

Canada04, I believe they do not mail a separate approval notice re I-751. The only correspondence I received from CIS in response to my I-751 was the new card itself. My online status changed to "Approval Notice Sent" after they mailed the PR card.

Hi Polisg Girl,

So then you got the same status: current status: card production ordered. How long did it take for you to get the PR card?

To kollerkrot:

Everything was sent just at the beginning of this year, 2007.

Hi canada04,
We got the same card production ordered message last Wednesday and my new card came in mail yesterday (Monday). The card came with a page mailer saying "Your Application Has Been Approved." The online status also changed to read: We have sent you a notice that your petition has been approved.

For all of you keeping track of different timelines, here's ours (also pretty impressive and also from the California Service Center):

I-751 mailed Dec 11
NOA - Dec 13
Biometrics appointment Jan 9
Card production ordered email Feb 21
Approval notice sent email Feb 26

Thanks by thw way for letting me know about the usic page that you can check your status there.

I sent my I-751 in the middle of September 2006.
got receipt 10 days later,a week after that i received my biometrics appojnment, which was done a week after the notice.

I checked online what date and month USIC Nebraska Center is handling applications and as of March 1st they were doing August 2006 applications...
So I assume around a month they should start doing my application.

Again thanks...and advice everyone to do the same, therefore no more wondering why it takes that long and what not, since u can see online what months and dates they are currently handeling.

But CA Center is shocking to me, how fast they are.But we should not forget that Nebraska is the ony Service Center that receives most i-751 applications from around the country.Thats why it takes them awhile I assume!
