Can somebody advice me what should be next step for me? I applied for I-687 then I left the country and went to canada. I came back in the country on H-1 in 1998 and got the Green Card I-55 through my H1b. I applied for N-400 and had interview yesterday. Immigration office took my test but told me that I have to wait as she has to request other file for I-687.

What should I do now? Should I get an Lawyer I am from virginia area.
