Thanks for looking! My first question is, where can I find Part I of the "Skills List"? My finance is from Thailand, and I don't know if her country requires her to do the two-year thing. The entry for Thailand in the skill list I found online says to look in "Part I". She came over as an au-pair. If anyone knows off-hand that would be great!

The other question is, which forms and in which order must I fill out since she is already here on a J-1 visa? Looking on the travel.state.gov website, I didn't see anything pertaining to this situation. Oh, and if we start the process, and her visa expires, what happens then?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

J1 visa as Au-Pair does not require two years residence in her home country, so you dont need part I for Skills List.
If you are a US citizen and want to marry her you must file a petition I-130 with USCIS after the marriage, do not worry if her visa expire meenwhile.
If you only want to change her status in another type of visa( i.e. student F1, temoporary work H-2b, tourist B2, etc)you ahve to file the proper forms for each particular case with USCIS, DOL if applicable.
