No offense and I wish you the best of luck, but you need to take an class in English. Americans are generally accepting people, but many of us don't care for the fact that our English language is being ignored. Spanish is not the language of the USA. If immigrants would study up and learn to read, write and speak our language, that would be a huge step to be accepted into our society!
Mindy... try going to www.immigrate2us.net it is another discussion forum, there are english speaking and spanish speaking people there, and very polite.
jake01 is right they speak both language on there and even if they did not you would recieve the best advise they can give you with out the negative comments
Huh? Telling a person they should brush up on their English is a negatve comment? C'mon people. Thats probably the best advice she could be given. In order to succeed in this society she will need to learn it. ProudUSC is correct. Right or wrong, people are more accepting if they can talk to a person. Not everyone is equiped with a press 2 for spanish button.
Vote Republican and this country will still be worth sneaking into.

I agree with you whole heartedly Davdah, but maybe she is still learning the english language, we should give people the benefit of doubt, and the patience of reasonable and polite encouragement.

Thank you, davdah. I really wasn't trying to be impolite as Jake01 suggested. It's difficult to muddle through broken English, combined with IM texting shortcuts - makes the posts hard to understand. In any case, I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings!

To ProudUSC I am sorry if I offended you in any way, when I posted the above message it was not meant as a way of insinuating that you was being rude, only that the website had spanish speaking people

Dear Mindy, Did you receive the notice from USCIS that they have received the I-751?

And what happens if she speaks Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, French, etc. English and Spanish are not the only languages, you know.
