Well, Finally! I have proof that things are underway clap

We received a letter today with the appointment for biometrics!

It may not be a lot to most of you but it's our first piece of solid proof that things are underway!

US Citizen married to Canadian Citizen

Sent Paperwork in 7-11-07
Received Biometrics info 8-31-07
Biometrics Appt 9-22-07

Anyone know or can help with what happens after the biometrics are done? Work and Travel permits I would assume... but how long after?

Edited to add:

Just got off the phone with the lawyers office, we learned it's very possible to receive work and possible travel permits on the spot or soon after.

Congrats, Waiting4Ever! Your timeline is very short compared to many others. I hope it all works out for you!

Hi. I applied in april and I got my biometrics appoinment for may 2nd. On may 5th, I got my interview appointment for June 12th. I've been waiting since. It really ****s that you have to wait either at the beginning or at the end like me. Good luck!

Hi waiting4ever, Good name!
I applied on july 5th,
got my NOA's on 17th,
biometric appointment on 16th Aug.
and nothing since then, no update even on online status. I think I'm going to leave it till mid september then going to give USCIS a call.
