Hi Pasha,

Your time will come soon.

I left it up to USCIS to change the service center. I heard from a lawyer on BE that he had a client get their conditions removed when they changed service centers (rather than transferring the file, they just adjudicated them). I don't know if that is what happened in my case or not. The timing of my adjudication seemed unaffected by the move. I was pretty close to the published processing times. I thought it was pretty interesting that TSC stayed with the case until the very end. I was also impressed that TSC knew where my nearest office was located.

I guess the one myth we can squash is the one that says you go to the back of the line if you move.

Thanks again Pasha - good luck with your petition.

Hi Jo,

Yes, I'm from near Toronto. Yes, I used to drink Brador in high school. It was 8% alcohol I think - the high test.

Spyra:

We were crazy about Brador in high school.

We took our class trip to a Canadian camp ground and stayed drunk.

My friend drank a whole case and howled at the moon. Oh no, that was at my house, we got into the Columbian liquor our exchange students left behind.

Thanks a lot sphyrapicus Smile...

Your experience is very helpful in many ways.... We learned a lot from your journey...so what do you think...? I guess it is advisable to change the address but not push BCIS too hard to transfer the file Wink...Pasha

I'm Canadian... But I prefer Molson Ice.

Well - actually I prefer gin or tequila but Molson will do in a pinch.

I prefer Sleeman's, Kokanee, Okanagan Springs, Rickard's, etc. Never was a big Molson or Labatt's fan - the Canadian equivalents to Bud and Coors.

I admit to consuming a lot of 'Blue way in the past... Liked Kokanee quite a bit... Canadian - not really, 'Pil (yuck), we used to drink some others I can't think of at the moment... I like the 7% beer a lot better than the 3.5% stuff around here... Of course, 5% will do in a pinch.

Bud - Yikes... Coors - nope... Miller? Never!

Basically, any beer served in a plastic cup at a sporting event (especially hockey) goes down just fine.
