My wife and I got married in August 2002. Is has been over two years since we applied for the I-485. For others experience how long has it taken from the NYC office.
My wife got fingerprinted in April 2004.

P.S. Does anyone who use the USIC webside which indicates dates for applications being processed find them to be WAY off? Sometimes they jump way ahead with the date, then they jump way back.
It drives me crazy!!

The record says they are processing I - 485 from date 06/03/2003..

I think you should contact your congressman and take his help in this matter if u have filed the petition 2 yrs ago...

visit this site www.house.gov and find ur congressman and write him to help u out...good luck...Pasha
