for an individual who would rather not get married , what other ways can one get us citizenship having lived two years past the expiration date of his/her f-1 visa? i would appreciate any feedback on this dicey matter.

I think the overstay may have hurt your chances pretty badly on that one... but, any chance you could apply for asylum????

I doubt asylum will be granted for overstay. AFAIK, only marriage will solved that problem

Is it possible to find a job related to the field that you were studying and ask if the company is willing to sponsor you??
