I am very proud of all the immigrants in here. Stand up for yourself. I am a pround american and I am proudly married to an Immigrant who I have just finshed bringing back to the United States. He is now offically a LPR of the U.S.! And you are right, the immigrant bashing clan in her does not know what it's like, Becuase if that had any knowladge of what it was really like to fill out these papers and go threw the process they would turn around and forget that they even opened there mouth!

there is a book out there called illegal immigrants, I am going to have to find out who wrote it, but its one of many i have been reading lately since joining this forum. But its a very comprehensive account of the cost of illegals. Right down to the amount of extra sewage, water, garbage being produced. AND!!! its still doesnt cost as much to the American blod a penny!!!! Oh yes its not state by state but america as a whole. And I agree it takes up a lot of congress time discussing illegal immigration rather than more pressing policies just like Iraq, just like education, Medicare, But its what gets the Politicians to the White House. Illigal immigration is a problem, I agree. But they are not the scum of the earth. They are here because they want to work their asses off to make a better living. Yes not everyone, there are black sheep in every society, thats why jails are full to overflowing. I think the bashers on here are looking at the minority and not the majority. Its life, i dont think proud or someone, or any one else is going to accomplish a lot on here. If your that dead against it, what is ur solutions? A doable solution? Proud, Immigration isnt just an AMERICAN problem. Its the world over. Illegal immigration is also in this catagory. U will never solve the problem of Illegal Immigration because it will involve making the country inaccessable, build a wall? close the borders northern borders, and the southern borders. U cant lock the doors and throw away the keys. You have to find out what the hell it is that is making the people come here in the first place and many risk their lives doing so. Your right it doesnt make it right but ask urself why. Make it more accessable, give realistic goals, give it realistic means. Yes I agree speaking english is one of the things that must be a must... !! If its worth coming here illegal it must be worth it to learn english to be legal. Public education - there are so many educated people from these countries that are saturating this country, why not use it to americas advantage. Start extra schooling for the kids, keeps them off the streets and give them intense english lessons. Emergency rooms, its a medical issue. Are u going to walk over a dying person on the street because he aint showing u his american passport. Medical is all about saving lives, helping the sick, why the hell is it so **** expensive?? It shouldnt have to be. The western world and in particular America has made the medical profession what it is today. its all about $$$$$$. It should be about helping sick people. So if the emergency rooms are full, the more fortunate upon us should look and ask why the hell are they risking everything to get decent health care. There is a problem, but solve the basics and the do able first. There is no way they can control every inch of the borders. Use the rescourses for things u can achieve. Houston probably has the most experience, other than legal professionals, about immigration. This is because he went/or is going to law school. The immigration system is broken. It takes way too long for someone to immigrate to the US for even the most simplest process. The system has an uneven system of punishment that is more draconian than other immigration systems, and the system does not meet the economic needs of this country. The skills that are in the most demand are generally held by foreign workers. This should tell you the state of the education system right now and we no one to blame but ourselves. Finally, system is more complicated than the tax code we currently have and that is a fact.
Now, before you go off on another tirade, I am a USC, have worked, but no longer, with the federal service, and probably seen more fraud than you can fathom. Immigrants who come here should not be treated like indentured servants, especially foreign wives. And if the marriage does not work out, then the foreign wife is not a cheater. You must prove the intent to obtain a green card and that is very hard to do under the current law. And intent is not simply someone getting a divorce either. I suggest you learn about the system before you start disagreeing with immigrants and USC who have more experience than you.
