    1. THE GLASS BORDER's Avatar

The U.S. immigration authorities are constantly committing abuses against immigrants, legal or undocumented. They frequently use their own personal criteria when applying the law, without worrying about the consequences of their action. They deprive many who pursue the evil called “the American dream “of their rights and even of their life.
They subjugate, they damage and they discredit; they prom
ote inequality and social unrest, and provoke feelings of rejection and grudges in those affected.
The Glass Border is evidence of the above. The author, Luis Guillen, endured over the last several years the unjust and discriminatory attitudes of government officials convinced that their personal decisions were above the law.
The Glass Border is not only the real testimony of a victim, it is also a warning to all who aim to migrate to the U.S., and above all, to the U.S. authorities who should understand that they can no longer add a glass border or borders to their fortified physical border.
