Focus: Chinese Student Events in USA (Reg D offerings and law firms seeking Chinese clientele)
Chinese international students are coming to the US in dramatically increased numbers. The explosion in undergrad Chinese students started a few years ago and continues. For EB-5 purposes Chinese students offer the best prospects. We have been conducting events since 2014 educating Chinese Students on EB-5 in New York, Washington DC, Massachusetts, Michigan and California. We will be conducting similar events in other locations soon. For each city we promote the event to multiple campuses across the metropolitan region; this can vary from ten to twenty campuses per city. The time frame for the events is determined based on the academic calendar. These are short evening events that require a short single night stay trip from the sponsoring Regional Center or law firm. During the educational event covering the students' immigration options the sponsor makes a short presentation about their project or law firm. The event structure allows for plenty of networking opportunities with students. These events are available only to Regional Centers that use Regulation-D or to law firms, and we require clients to consult a securities attorney before signing up for these events. Help Wanted: Immigration Paralegal

The paralegal will primarily be involved with the preparation and submission of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions, labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions, permanent resident applications, and U.S. citizenship applications. He/she will assist immigration attorneys in assessing immigration options for corporate clients, obtaining U.S. work authorization for foreign nationals, and maintaining valid visa status of clients' foreign national populations. Other duties include: preparing labor certification documents; overseeing labor certification recruitment process; preparing letters in support of visa petitions; maintaining correspondence with clients; collecting evidence and visa documentation from clients; conducting case audits; maintaining contact with government agencies; researching visa application procedures and requirements; and maintaining client databases with respect to approval and validity dates of visa petitions. Qualifications: Applicants should be detail-oriented and highly analytical with exceptional writing and communication skills. Attorney will be expected to make appearances at the Immigration Courts located at 26 Federal Plaza and 201 Varick Street, as well as the Nassau & Suffolk County criminal courts. Candidate must have at least 3 years' experience with some of the following: removal defense, cancellation of removal, asylum, family-based immigration, provisional waivers, and/or assessment of immigration consequences of proposed criminal disposition.
