  • Jan 12 - Republicans to Repeat their 2012 Mistake

Comment: Republicans to Repeat their 2012 Mistake
There is a small, but persistent, faction within the Republican Party that - as far as immigration is concerned - has taken leave of its senses. This traitorous bunch refuses to offer anything positive on immigration, since they don't find anything positive in immigration. Mitt Romney, who was once upon a time a sensible Republican, took leave of his senses during the 2012 campaign, and had the audacity to suggest that "attrition through enforcement" can be called an immigration "strategy. We deplore the GOP's idiotic position on immigration during the previous Presidential campaign, and are determined to loudly note that such a position is not an American one, and thus not an acceptable one. Our warning is prompted by media reports that Mr. Romney is considering running for his party's nomination one more time. We have no problem with this should Mr. Romney publicly reject his 2012 immigration platform, and adopt one that is friendly to immigrants. Short of that occurring, we believe that politicians running on vile platforms should not be given a second glance by Republican donors, and Republican voters. We urge the GOP to roundly reject Mr. Romney.

No, it is those who support amnesty who are traitors.

And you seem to have forgotten that the Republicans won based on an opposition to amnesty in the mid-terms. Sorry, thanks for the bad advice, but you can go fly a kite.
