With this issue, Immigration Daily commences our 15th year of continuous daily publication. We are proud to say we have missed only 1 issue in all these years (and no, that was not on 9/11, when we published an issue from the homes of our team members, the issue we missed was in 2002 when our server was down). We are an online-only newspaper - but a newspaper nevertheless - in other words, we are not a website. What that means is that, like all newspapers, we hold our archives as sacrosanct, as a true and faithful record of events that transpire in immigration law. As opposed to Immigration Daily, our two competitors in online immigration news conduct themselves as websites, not as a true and faithful record of events - both of them blithely and routinely delete content from the past - thus obliterating the ability of readers in the future to check into events from the past. Our readers can rest assured that whatever else we may or may not be, Immigration Daily has never been, nor will it ever be, a website - we are a newspaper published online - we do not go back and delete our past. That said, we have comported with newspaper industry standards for online publication, and we do alter factual errors - but even these are done with clear notice to readers as to the date and scope of the change on the specific page in question.

We have a circulation base of over 35,000 subscribers, including approximately 9,000 immigration lawyers. We reach a diverse audience, including paralegals, HR professionals, in-house counsel, journalists and people in academia, think-tanks, etc. and also thousands of government employees at the federal and state levels, in all three branches - executive, judicial and legislative. Our single largest audience group is immigrants, over 15,000 of them.

Immigration Daily would not be possible without the sustained support of immigration attorneys throughout the country who consistently vote with hard-earned dollars to support our free publication by buying our books, seminars, workshops, help-wanted ads, and other products and services. In 2014, we have discounted prices of our seminars, books and advertisements significantly, thus making our products more affordable, and we are pleased with the additional support that the immigration law community has extended us in consequence.

Above all, we thank each and every one of our readers, by voting with your mouse clicks each and every day - you make all our hard work in producing Immigration Daily worthwhile. We look forward to many, many more years together as the story of immigration law in the United States continues to unfold. Share your thoughts by writing to editor@ilw.com.
