The New York Law Journal reports on October 7 that Judge George B. Daniels of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York engaged in aggressive questioning of a Justice Deportment lawyer while asking what the rational basis was for the new Trump-Miller Public Charge rule.

The judge stated that the new rule is trying to drastically narrow who is eligible to receive a green card without Congressional approval. Attorneys for the plaintiffs who are asking for a preliminary injunction, argued that the new rule is baked on "racial; animus" against nonwhite immigrants.

Ghita Schwarz, an attorney for the Center for Constitutional Rights, made the following statement about the new rule:

"The outcome is that people who are black, Latino or Asian are more likely to be disproportionately impacted."

That is the obvious intention of the new rule, which is set to go into effect on October 15 This rule, which Stephen Miller was reportedly pushing for for the past two years, and which Miller has has been quoted as describing as being "socially transfornative" clearly discriminates against immigrants from less affluent non-European countries who are more likely to use public benefits,

It represents the most blatant attempt to impose a white immigrants only regime on America since the openly biased 1924 "national origins" immigration act.
