OK, I've been wanting to resume this feature for a long time and am giving it a go. That's because there was major news involving an immigrant. And I've been wanting to write about immigrants on the US Olympic team in Sochi. Feel free to shoot me suggestions for people who deserve to be featured.

So in case you haven't heard, Indian-born Satya Nadella has been named the new CEO of Microsoft, replacing Steve Ballmer. Nadella is a 22 year veteran at Microsoft.

Nadella is the same age as me, a fellow graduate of the University of Chicago (MBA for him, law degree for me) and has three kids like me. Too bad for me the similarities end there. He's now one of the most important corporate leaders in America and is taking the helm of one of the country's most iconic companies. Good luck Satya!
