Comment: Steven Miller CIS and EB5 Redeployment

Anti-immigrationists have been major supporters of the Trump Presidency--not just from outside, like Center for Immigration Studies, but from within the administration, like Steven Miller. No matter what you think of their policy positions these anti-immigrationists have shown remarkable political tactical savvy in promoting their agenda especially from within this administration. They correctly identified the new EB5 regulation as being supportive of President Trump's election prospects by creation of rural jobs--and while almost all Obama era regulations died on the vine, this particular Obama era regulation was championed and eventually was published. Given this implied understanding of the new reg, it is puzzling that these folks have not grasped the potential of USCIS issuing guidance on redeployment of EB5 capital as per the currently effective TEA definitions. This simple act of penmanship at no cost to the budget would create tens of thousands of rural jobs without a single new EB5 investment--by simply redirecting redeployed EB5 capital to rural areas, creating jobs there--thus boosting President Trump's reelection prospects. Seems like a no-brainer for the anti-immigrationists.
