Comment: Articles Under Pseudonyms
We have carried a number of articles on EB-5 policy recently--by Gary Friedland and Jeanne Calderon, Matthew Galati and Publius. While choosing to carry an article, we evaluate the knowledgeability of the writer and whether the article is a contribution to serious discussion of the subject at hand.

Occasionally, we carry anonymous articles or articles under pseudonyms--in the past 19 years we have done it around a dozen times. When we do so, we use the same procedure as trade newspapers have always done--we need to know the identity of the author, and need to satisfy ourselves of their knowledgeability--and we accept such articles on a case by case basis. We protect the identity of anonymous authors as per the long tradition of trade press.
