    Comment: Editorializing
    Immigration Daily is a non-partisan newspaper, and we are long on record that maintaining a competitive political system with two strong parties (Republican and Democratic) is good for America. Immigration Daily is only in the business of covering immigration matters, we are NOT in the business of general political commentary. In this election, both candidates have offered sharply divergent visions on immigration, and are both openly asking the American people for a mandate to bring to fruit their respective immigration visions. It is this unprecedented centrality of immigration to the debate in this election that gives us latitude to address the candidates holistically. Were immigration NOT front and center in this election, we would find ourselves duty-bound to keep our lips sealed, for Immigration Daily does not have any moral authority to impose our views, whatever they may be, on our readers on political matters. But on immigration matters, we cannot remain silent, duty calls us to speak out. Furthermore, our editorializing is within bounds established by the long tradition of the American trade and professional press, including law journals/bar newspapers, for well over a century. Should our editorials offend one side or the other, we commend the above to our readers' attention. We are always open to opposing points of view to our own, in letters to the Editor, or in Op-Ed pieces sent to us. We have never hesitated to carry contrary opinions to our own, and those disagreeing with our point of view should be fully assured that their opinions will be treated fairly and respectfully, should they send us their missives.

      Old EB5 Model-Seller's Market New EB5 Mondel-Buyer's Market
      Issuers Small number of Issuers
      (Project + USCIS approval = investment success)
      Large number of Issuers
      (USCIS approval & good project are commodities)
      Market Only China Multiple markets:
      China, India, Vietnam, etc.
      Roles Issuer gets project & USCIS approval;
      Chinese Agent does SOF and Sales
      Breakup of functions:
      SOF by US immigration attorneys,
      Marketing by Issuers,
      Sales by agents
      (A Good Project and USCIS approval are now commodities due to the large number of Issuers with both)
      Marketing Marketing NOT necessary for success
      (because market was a seller’s market with more demand than supply)
