Comment: Hope And Change
President Obama plans to announce a long overdue initiative to take such actions which the executive branch lawfully can to address our broken immigration system. Congress has repeatedly failed to pass laws on this issue critical to the country for the past fifteen years. By thus creating an immigration emergency it has compelled the President to take bold action. The only reason Congress has failed to pass immigration legislation, either piecemeal or comprehensively, is that a small group of fanatics within the Republican Party are holding America hostage on the issue of immigration. Bob Goodlatte, the Republican chair of the House Judiciary Committee, wrote an Op Ed in today's Wall Street Journal, setting forth his opposition to the President's impending action.

  1. Mr Goodlatte says that "[the President's threatened action] does not constitute faithful execution of the law". We believe that any impartial observer will conclude that faithful execution of the immigration statutes has become impossible.
  2. Mr Goodlatte says that "a unilateral presidential edict...[will poison] his relationship with lawmakers". We believe that this is a political observation, not a legal one, and it remains to be seen what the American people will say about this matter in November 2016.
  3. Mr. Goodlatte says that "the power of the purse" will be a tool to oppose the President. We encourage Mr. Goodlatte to use this constitutional power, and let Congress's bills speak for the two Chambers.

Do not miss the President's address on immigration Thursday night at 8PM ET, and let us know your thoughts by writing to us at editor@ilw.com.

Focus: Six City Persian Gulf Tour
ILW will customize a Persian Gulf marketing event that will be exclusive to your organization and will be tailored to generate business relative to the EB-5 industry directly to your firm. Giving China's retrogression, it is wise to have an alternative source of investors. After conducting successful events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Kuwait we are extending the journey to include the cities of Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah on ILW's Six City Persian Gulf Tour.

We research and target select regions and individuals of high net-worth status to guarantee an attendance of qualified individuals with the appropriate financial means of being able to participate in an EB-5 investment.

What We Offer:

  • Guaranteed attendance of only qualified individuals of high net-worth status, specifically, individuals that meet the necessary criteria for the EB-5 program.
  • Finely tuned filtration and scrubbing process to ensure the proper quality of attendees and mitigation of EB-5 broker and "window shopper" attendance.
  • Complete strategic planning of all logistical implementation related to: travel schedule, program itinerary, refreshments, event marketing, event advertising, translation services, securing of venue, presentation aid assistance, post event follow ups and provision of contact information of attendees to presenting client post event.
  • 100% exclusivity. Unlike foreign "exposition" type settings, we only execute events for individual clients at a time in order to completely eliminate any instance of competition on the day of presentation.
  • Organic leads: we ensure to only invite brand new attendees for our events. This allows for exclusively and fresh leads as opposed to recycling contacts made from past.
  • An intimate ambiance: we purposely guarantee a minimum number of attendees ranging between 25-30 attendees in total per event in order to ensure all questions are answered thoroughly and that direct contact is established between the presenter and potential investor. In addition, we ensure that each potential investor has an opportunity to sit down with the presenter in a private 1 on 1 sit down in immediately after the presentation portion which increases transparency for the potential investor.
  • A unique opportunity for professionals that participate in this service to convert as many possible investors without paying a single cent in commission or any relative fees as typically witnessed in the China EB-5 industry.
  • Fully ethical and SEC compliant services related solely to marketing which does not involve the selling or facilitation of security placement.
  • An extremely competitive and moderate fair and flat cost that covers every notion associated with this service other than travel costs.
