Comment: More Candidate Statements
The 2013 election season for competitive AILA offices has started. Earlier this week, we carried campaign material from 7 out of the 11 candidates for competitive office. One more candidate has sent in material, and 3 candidates have sent in fuller statements (their initial ones were abbreviated). We carry below the latest material from the candidates, fulfilling our duty as the newspaper of record for the immigration law community. Please be advised that we have twice reminded (after the original invitation) each of the 3 remaining candidates to release a statement - however, it is the candidate's choice as to when they want to start their campaign (also please bear in mind that occasionally a candidate does campaign without releasing any material).

Running For AILA Treasurer: Annaluisa Padilla, Ken Rinzler
Running For AILA Board of Governors: Ally Bolour; Matthew I. Hirsch (short, long); Marketa Lindt; Sarah Peterson Stensrud; Greg Siskind; Ian Wagreich.
