U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the release of a new video in English and Spanish to promote awareness of myE-Verify. In the video, USCIS Director León Rodríguez explains how myE-Verify’s features give users, workers and job seekers more transparency so that they can be involved in the employment eligibility verification process, and how the system improves their security so they can be more proactive in protecting their identify.

Other myE-Verify features highlighted in the video include:

  • Self Lock and Case History put you in control of your identity in E-Verify and combat identity fraud.
  • Self Check lets you confirm your own employment eligibility records.
  • Case Tracker lets users follow the progress of their E-Verify case.
  • The Resource Center has multi-media information about employee rights and employer responsibilities. Everyone should know their rights.
